AN UPDATE ON SHIPPING TO THE U.S.
We love our U.S. customers and it’s really important to us that you get a fair deal when shopping with us. Right now, there’s a lot of confusion around new customs rules and tariffs in the United States so we want to be as transparent as possible.
Royal Mail have now put a process in place that allows us to pay the new U.S. import tariff upfront here in the UK. This means parcels will clear customs smoothly without you getting hit by surprise fees on arrival.
Here’s what it means for you:
- We need to add an extra 10% charge at checkout to cover the tariff. As a tiny micro-business, we just can’t absorb these additional costs on top of our already competitive pricing. So on one £7.95 pin (approx $10.74), this amounts to an additional charge of 80p (approx $1.08).
- You’ll also still be responsible for paying your own state sales taxes if they apply, as we’re not authorised to collect them on your behalf.
- Royal Mail now require a phone number for U.S. deliveries, so please make sure you enter the correct one at checkout to avoid any delays.
